CHARACTERISTICS AND ADVANTAGES OF MUDDIEST POINT IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING

Abstract
The aim of this research was to determine how and to what extent some of modern techniques, such as Muddiest Point technique, may affect the teaching of English and the quality of knowledge of foreign languages. Effects of the Muddiest Point technique was tested on English language teaching. The research was conducted in Grammar School in Sremski Karlovci, Department of Modern Languages. The study included 48 students, 24 students in the experimental and 24 in the control group. To collect data for the research quantitative method was used. Quantitative data were obtained by statistically analysing the immediate- post retention test. The results of the study suggest that implementing the technique Muddiest Point in the teaching of English has positively affected learning and improved students’ language skills.
