EDUCATIONAL SOFTWARE IN THE CURRICULUM (PHONETICS) OF THE SERBIAN LANGUAGE - A PRACTICAL EXAMPLE OF THE USE OF THE PROGRAMS PREZI AND HOTPOTATOES

Abstract

As a rule, the new era, somewhat naturally, sets new challenges for schools. The last ten years have seen an intense work on the development and improvement of didactic media, teaching methods and forms of work, all with the common end of increasing the effi ciency of the teaching process. Particular attention is paid to the use of computers in Serbian language teaching. However, the use of computers in the area of phonetics as a part of the Serbian language curriculum has so far been neglected. In this respect, the paper offers a practical possibility for using computer software (Prezi, HotPotatoes) in teaching phonetics and phonology.
