Abstract
This paper represents an attempt to recognize the significance of the Comparative grammar of Slavic languages as a central diachronic discipline at the Russian studies in Serbia. It points out the conception and description of theoretical and practical aspects of the teaching process, defining the basic components of teaching with regard to the current curriculum state, together with suggestions for correction, in order to achieve more successful planning, realisation, evaluation as well as optimisation of teaching in a Russistic profile.
